Global Engineering Opportunities in Mexico

Beginning in 2004, Lawrence Tech has a partnership with the Tecnológico de Monterrey also known as "Monterrey Tech". Monterrey Tech has a heritage similar to Lawrence Tech's background as a private "theory and practice" institution with an emphasis on technology and professional programs. The Monterrey Campus of this internationally respected university welcomes students from the United States. Summer Program at Lawrence Tech for Monterrey Tech students

This summer, Lawrence Tech is pleased to announce a partnership with Tecnologico de Monterrey for four weeks in June, 2004. International engineering and chemisty students from Monterrey Mexico will have the opportunity to develop cross-cultural engineering skills while earning university credits in English language courses at Lawrence Tech. This program will run from Jun 6 to July 1, 2005 at LTU's Southfield campus. Monterrey Tech students will interact with U.S. students in both the classroom and extracurricular social and cultural activities. Students will take field trips to nearby manufacturing, research, and development facitlities of major automoitive OEM's and Tier 1 Automotive suppliers. Students will live in university apartment-style rooms with fully equipped kitchens.
