International Student Enrollment Deposit

Lawrence Technological University has a long history of servicing the unique needs of our international student population.  Our goal is to ensure that all international students are well-serviced and provided with the best opportunities when they arrive to campus.  In keeping with this, we have instituted a non-refundable enrollment deposit for all international students of $500.  This deposit will help us better manage our international student population while they proceed through the completion of the application process and the preparations for arrival to campus.

All international students are required to submit a $500 non-refundable deposit to complete your application and finalize your admission documentation.  This should be submitted to the Office of Admission in certified funds such as a money order or certified check.  The use of a wire transfer is also acceptable; please contact the Office of Admission (admissions@ltu.edu) for wire transfer details. The deposit will be held on the student account for use in the second enrolled semester.  Upon enrollment in the second semester, a student may request that the funds be released to his/her account for payment of tuition and fees. The deposit can only be used for the second semester tuition and fees.

The deposit can be held over to a new starting term.  The student must contact the Office of Admissions prior to the first two weeks of the semester to which he/she applied.  If no notification is received, the deposit will be forfeited.

Canadian citizens are exempt from the international student enrollment deposit.
