Student Employment Program
Student Employment is a resource for students seeking on and off-campus employment, as well as Work-Study, Community Service and Family Literacy program opportunities. Lawrence Tech offers opportunities for regular part-time employment up to 20 hours per week. Applications for all types of student employment positions are accepted in our on-line job posting board, CareerQuest.
In addition to providing extra income, supervision and guidance while at the University, campus employers support student employees in their academic endeavors. On-campus employment has been shown to contribute to both academic success and professional and personal success after graduation.

Application Process for On and Off Campus Opportunities
On-campus and off-campus opportunities are posted in CareerQuest. The Office of Career Services recommends that all students create an account in CareerQuest, and upload a current resume. (For help with your resume, contact our office and schedule an appointment with a staff member).
To apply for student employment, search job postings for "Lawrence Tech As An Employer" and submit your resume online for positions where you meet the stated qualifications. Also, check in CareerQuest or on our Recruitment Events page for information about our Fall on-campus student employment fair!
Using the CareerQuest system does not guarantee an interview or a job, but it will help streamline the process of getting involved in a search. To increase the chance of success or if difficulties arise while using the CareerQuest system, it is recommended that students take advantage of the services that the Office of Career Services provides. Staff members are available to assist in navigation, resume writing and critiquing, co-op and internship help, interest inventories, interview practice sessions, as well as a plethora of other services. The Office of Career Services may be contacted at ltuocs@ltu.edu or at 248.204.3140.
