Scholarship Opportunities
Lawrence Technological University is pleased to offer two research assistant positions for students applying and being accepted to the Master of Science in Mechatronic Systems Engineering Program.

Two full tuition scholarships will be provided for spring and fall semesters of 2007 with a possibility of renewing the full scholarships for spring and fall of 2008.

Selected students are expected to work 20 hours per week on a research project related to road/terrain multi-wheel vehicle dynamics and control under the supervision of a full time Lawrence Tech faculty member.

Students are responsible for all associated fees and costs such as textbooks, room and board, health insurance, etc.
Requirements
Advanced skills in Matlab and Simulink software products, solid knowledge in classical control systems, understanding wheeled vehicle dynamics. Applications for the MSMSE program should be sent to the University Admission Office with additional information about a candidate’s abilities in the required fields. The application should have a notice “Scholarship requested”.
The due date for Spring applications is January 5, 2007. The due date for Fall applications is May 1, 2007.
