 CURRICULUM  
The Master of Engineering in Manufacturing Systems is a cross-disciplinary program that requires 30 credit hours of course work. Eight core courses (24 credit hours) are required:
 
  Engineering Systems Simulation
 
  Engineering Materials
  Manufacturing Processes  
  Quality Control  
  Manufacturing Productivity  
  Engineering Economics  
  Manufacturing Systems  
  Engineering Management  
Two elective courses (six credit hours) are required and may be selected from the following:  
  Fasteners and Bolted Joints

  Polymer Materials and Processes

  Optimization of Manufacturing Systems

  Production Planning and Control

  Manufacturing Systems Simulation  
  Design for Reliability  
  Technology Management  
Students also may elect engineering courses from other Lawrence Tech master's programs.

Lawrence Tech’s Master of Engineering in Manufacturing Systems program seeks to strengthen the ability of practicing engineers to develop, design, and effectively utilize advanced manufacturing systems to produce quality products at the least cost, including managing overseas manufacturing operations.
