• Wind-tunnel experiments and theoretical analysis on the impact of surface wettability on heat transfer performance and energy efficiency of heat exchangers
• Investigated condensation and retention management on engineered surfaces by chemically tuning the surface and/or creating micro-scale surface features
• Investigated heat transfer enhancement of two-phase flow boiling of refrigerant-based nanofluids by seeding silica and copper nanoparticles into the stream
• Studied performance improvement and energy efficiency of heat exchangers using vortex generation techniques
