Biography
Professor Feierfeil has been at Lawrence Technological University (LTU) since Spring 2002 and is a College Professor and Director of the Lear Entrepreneurial Program for Mechanical Engineering. Professor Feierfeil received a BSME from the University of Detroit and his MSME from Wayne State University. He is a Registered Professional Engineer in Michigan. He founded the Student Chapter of the Collegiate Entrepreneur’s Organization (CEO), and is actively participating as the faculty advisor.
Prior to joining LTU, he had a successful career at Ford Motor Company, which spanned over 35 years. During that time, he held positions in Product Engineering, Testing Operations, Information Management, and Strategic Planning. He has experienced the broad spectrum of engineering responsibilities including 10 years as a Product Development Engineer in Automotive Fuel Systems, 10 years of Supervision in Fuel Systems and Emissions Testing Laboratories, and 15 years in Information Management and Engineering Technology Strategic Planning.
He has made presentations to the American Society of Engineering Educators, the Roundtable for Entrepreneurship Education, and the National Collegiate Inventors and Innovators Alliance.![]()
