Dr. Daihong Yu
Architectural Engineering Faculty
Dr. Daihong Yu joined the Architectural Engineering Faculty in the fall of 2012. She studied at Hunan University in China and received her undergraduate degree in Building Environment and Equipment Engineering. In 2011 she received her master's degree in Architectural Engineering at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (UNL), and in 2012 she received a Ph.D. in Architectural Engineering (UNL). With an impressive background in Renewable Energy Research and hands on experience inside of the industrial sector, she lends phisycal, human energy (as well as renewable energy), enthusiasm as a presenter, researcher, future patent holder with a host of accolades and awards to her credit.
Dr. Mena Bebawy

Dr. Mena Bebawy is a graduate of Assiut University in Assiut, Egypt. Receiving a "Distinction with Honor", bachelor's degree in the field of Civil Engineering in June of 2000. Dr. Bebawy also served as a teaching assistant at Assiut University before joing the student body of Lawrence Technological University to pursue his master's degree. In 2007 Dr. Bebawy received his Master of Science in Civil Engineering degree while working as a research assistant and teaching assistant. In 2011 Dr. Bebawy received his Ph.D in Civil Engineering from the University of Windsor, (Windsor, ON, Canada). His interests also include the research and study of Structural and Fire Protection Engineering. He continues his ongoing research in this area, broadening the scope of the Architectural Engineering discipline.
