Blackboard Issues

Internet Explorer 8

There are known compatibility problems when using Internet Explorer 8 and Blackboard. Although the issues are do not affect all areas it is strongly suggested that when test / quiz taking students use Firefox (download).

Internet Explorer 8 is NOT a  Blackboard supported browser. We recommend that you use only supported browsers Internet Explorer 7, Firefox 2, or Safari 3, especially when taking tests. 

Exams, Tests, Quizzes
Exams that have the timer feature enabled display the timer that covers the Save and Submit buttons. 

Assignment Submission
When attempting to upload an assignment or enter grades the error message "Please enter a valid file" is displayed

Pop-Up Blockers

Some pop-up blocker software may cause Blackboard discussion board areas and Wimba Live Classroom sessions to not work properly.
