Course Information
Course Description
Fundamental concepts and operations, functions, and graphs, trigonometric functions with
right triangle applications, systems of linear equations and methods of solution, factoring and
algebraic fractions, quadratic equations.
Course Prerequisite
1 Year of High School Algebra, MCS0023, or equivalent.
Course Materials
- Internet availability (Recommended to be viewed with
Netscape Navigator 3.0 or higher, or Microsoft Internet Explorer 3.0 or higher.)
- Basic Technical Mathematics with Calculus textbook by
Allyn J. Washington 7th edition
- Video tapes (available in Academic Achievement Center)
- Scientific calculator (and a graphing calculator would be nice)
- VAX account (issued by LTU)
- Course Worksheet Packets (available on the internet)
