Course Description

Introduction to plane analytic geometry, basic concepts of calculus, derivatives of simple functions, tangents, curve sketching, indefinite and definite integrals.

MCS 1123 Technical Mathematics 2

Course Materials

• Internet availability (Recommended to be viewed with Netscape 3.0 or higher, or Internet Explorer 3.0 or higher.)
• Basic Technical Mathematics with Calculus textbook by Allyn J. Washington 6th edition
• Video tapes (available in LTU's library to be checked out or viewed)
• Scientific calculator (and a graphing calculator would be nice)
• VAX account (issued by LTU)
