FEATURES

Corporate & Foundation!

"Theory and Pratice" has been the motto of Lawrence Technological University since 1932. Our students and faculty offer a wealth of expertise to the corporate community, local governments, and our non-profit neighbors. Lawrence Tech has been responsive to the needs both of industry and students.

Cutting Edge Co-op

Lawrence Tech is the first university in the United States to provide a parallel co-op program at the Ford Motor Company, in which promising students are recruited as early as freshman year for part-time and summer employment at Ford throughout the course of their undergraduate study.

Designing Detroit

The revitalization of Detroit's theatre district - including the Fox, the State, and the Gem Theatres - was conceptualized and designed as Lawrence Tech student projects. Research on carbon-fiber bridges conducted by Dr. Nabil Grace, professor of civil engineering has led to a partnership with the City of Southfield to construct the first composite highway brigde in U.S. history.
