The Laptop Agreement contains the terms and conditions of the laptop program and identifies your rights and responsibilities as a participant in the program.
Students over the age of 18 must sign the Laptop Agreement before a laptop can be assigned to them. Students who already have an LTU laptop must sign a new agreement at the beginning of each academic year.
Students under the age of 18 must obtain a paper copy of the Laptop Agreement from the Computer Help Desk and have it signed by one of their parents. The signed paper copy of the agreement must be returned to the Computer Help Desk when the student picks up a laptop during laptop distribution.
The Laptop Agreement is located in BannerWeb and is signed electronically. Once signed, a confirmation number is returned indicating the year and academic term when the agreement was signed.
Before you can sign the Laptop Agreement, you must be registered for classes at Lawrence Tech and pay a $500 refundable laptop security deposit. You can register and pay the security deposit at the One Stop Service Desk, room C304 Taubman Student Services Center.
Once the above conditions are met, sign the Laptop Agreement in BannerWeb using the instructions below:

Click on this link. (If you do not see this link, it indicates that there are other conditions which must be met before you can sign the Laptop Agreement). 5. The following page is the full text of the Laptop Agreement. Read it carefully. 6. Sign the agreement by clicking on the ‘Submit' button at the bottom of the page. 7. A refreshed copy of the page will be returned with your confirmation number. Please print out a copy of this agreement for your records.
