eXtreme Science Saturdays
Open to high schoolers of all ages, eXtreme Science Saturdays give you great hands-on experience using state-of-the-art equipment in a modern lab. You'll explore instrumental techniques, such as fluorescence and infrared analysis and Nuclear Magnetic Resonance, and conduct separation analyses with Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry, High Pressure Liquid Chromatography, and Thin Layer Chromatography. You'll also experiment with crime scene investigation techniques such as DNA fingerprinting.
eXtreme Science Saturdays, held 10 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.-on Saturday!-are totally free. And what's more, they include lunch and for dessert-the liquid nitrogen ice cream you'll make yourself.
