Find Your First Professional Job The successful search for Co-ops & Internships
The Office of Career Services (OCS) provides a comprehensive six-week Career Prep Program that provides students with the necessary career management skills to effectively identify and compete for employment opportunities related to their academic major. The OCS staff and partnering employers will provide coaching and support for achieving co-op and internship goals with emphasis on exploration of opportunities, cover letter and resume development, interviewing, networking, professional image and the use of technology in achieving career goals. In addition, each student participant will be assigned a personal career coach (OCS staff member) who will assist with career management issues, and identifying prospective co-ops and internships.
