Mark your Calendar! Fall Co-op and Internship Fair is scheduled for October 23, 2008 in the Buell Management Building Atrium (2 pm - 5:30 pm). Any students who are looking for a way to gain experience that is related to their major while they are in school? Make time in your schedule to participate in this fair. All Majors are Welcome! Meet employers who are interested in talking with students about co-op and internship opportunities. Make sure you prepare a resume and plan to bring multiple copies to this career fair. To find out more about the event, check out the employer list under "Events" from your CareerQuest Welcome page. Is this your first career fair? Need help with your resume? Need interviewing advice? Spring 2009 Upcoming Events
Workshops The Office of Career Services also offers "Find Your First Professional Job", a comprehensive, 6-week program which provides students with the necessary career management skills to effectively identify and compete for employment opportunities related to their academic major. The OCS staff and partnering employers will provide coaching and support for students seeking to explore opportunities, develop cover letters and resumes, learn interview and networking skills, creating a professional image and using technology to achieve career goals. In addition, each student participant will be assigned a personal career coach who will assist with career management issues and identifying prospective opportunities.
