Services for Alumni

Current studies show that an average working professional may change positions as many as seven times.  Each time a job search is conducted, extensive preparation and many hours of dedicated time are required to find just the right position.  The Office of Career Services at Lawrence Technological University is available to help you meet the challenges of a job search in the current changing economy. 

Lawrence Technological University partners with MonsterTRAK, the college-specific site of Monster.com. It offers LTU alumni the ability to browse and apply for part-time jobs, internships, and full-time jobs.  Over 1,200 opportunities were posted last year. MonsterTRAK is a free and unlimited service for LTU current students and alumni.  Through MonsterTRAK, students and alumni also have access to career assessments, industry and salary overviews, job search information, resume & cover letter tips, and interviewing advice.  By registering on MonsterTRAK, you will receive personal reminders about events pertinent to your job search. Lastly, your resume is available to the many employers seeking the experience and education of a LTU grad.

Alumni are also welcome to schedule an appointment with our professional career development staff members for a Job Search Consultation.  Bring a current draft of your resume and we will provide a resume critique, review current interviewing techniques, discuss job search tactics and recommend resources for further assistance. 

Additional alumni services include access to Lawrence Tech Career Fairs and Alumni Career Networking Receptions.  Dates and schedules for these events are posted on MonsterTRAK under Career Fairs, as well as on the Office of Career Services web page.
