Career Services and International Programs Workshops
Regular workshops are offered by the Office of Career Services and International Programs to provide assistance with resume critiques, interview skills, job search techniques, CPT and OPT processes. Check in the C404 for currently scheduled workshops.

Find Your First Professional Job:
The Office of Career Services also offers “Find Your First Professional Job”, a comprehensive, 6-week program which provides students with the necessary career management skills to effectively identify and compete for employment opportunities related to their academic major. The OCS staff and partnering employers will provide coaching and support for students seeking to explore opportunities, develop cover letters and resumes, learn interview and networking skills, creating a professional image and using technology to achieve career goals. In addition, each student participant will be assigned a personal career coach who will assist with career management issues, and identifying prospective opportunities.

Find Your First Professional Job
The Office of Career Services will be offering this all-inclusive “get ready for that professional job” workshop beginning in the Spring of 2009. Let us be your guide through the job-hunting process, from creating a resume that stands out and finding job opportunities, to shining through the interview process and negotiating a top salary. We will meet on Tuesday afternoons from 12:30 to 1: 45. Location is yet to be determined. Check with the Office of Career Services for more information at ltuocs@ltu.edu or 248-204-3140.
