Find Your First Professional Job

The Office of Career Services also offers “Find Your First Professional Job”, a comprehensive, 2-week program which provides students with the necessary career management skills to effectively identify and compete for employment opportunities related to their academic major.  The OCS staff and partnering employers will provide coaching and support for students seeking to explore opportunities, develop cover letters and resumes, learn interview and networking skills, creating a professional image and using technology to achieve career goals.  In addition, each student participant will be assigned a personal career coach who will assist with career management issues, and identifying prospective opportunities.

Find Your First Professional Job is offered every fall and spring.  To register for “Find Your First Professional Job”, please contact the OCS at 248-204-3140 or ltuocs@ltu.edu.


Career Services Workshops

Regular workshops are offered by the Office of Career Services to provide assistance with resume critiques, interview skills, and job search techniques.  Check with the Office of Career Services for information about upcoming events.
