The Men’s Ice Hockey
The 2008-2009 season was a successful year for the young athletes of Lawrence Tech.  The team finished 16-13 overall and ranked 4th in the North Region of the American Collegiate Hockey Association(ACHA DIII).  The team had seven Academic All-Americans, three 2nd team All-North Region players and a First Team All-Conference player.  The team looks to improve on last season with the help of veteran core of players returning along with many incoming prospects for the 2009-2010 campaign.

Intramural Sports

Tech Rec intramurals for men and women are scheduled throughout the school year in volleyball, flag football, basketball, indoor soccer, softball, racquetball, wallyball, billiards, tennis, badminton, dodgeball and table tennis. Fitness classes, weight training instruction and intramural leagues and tournaments are available to students at no charge.

Women’s Volleyball
The women's club volleyball will begin their third year of competition. The team practices twice a week and competes on the weekends in a variety of tournaments around the state. Co-captains Kat Bosch and Abby Schroeder will lead the team.

Co-Ed Curling
The curling team is entering their 6th year of collegiate competition in the fall of 2009. The student-run team practices on Sundays at the Detroit Curling Club in Ferndale. The team competes annually in the Great Lakes Curling Regional Tournament and the National Collegiate Curling Championship in Chicago.

Men’s Cricket
The Lawrence Tech Cricket Club is a second year member of the Michigan Cricket Association. The team competes in the Division 2, 20-Overs League on weekends June through September.
