Leadership

Your leadership project should answer the question, "What does it mean to be a good leader?" You can identify and engage in experiences that emphasize character, integrity and professionalism in various contexts, with an emphasis on self-awareness and personal development. Some possibilities include:

Service learning, coalition building, activism in your community, or other efforts toward change.

Coordinate with other individuals or organizations to plan, organize and host an event for a common purpose, or building positive relationships by working with others.

Engaging in volunteer abroad programs, international student development, foreign policy education projects, diversity awareness

Organizational leadership development, training and education for coworkers and colleagues, or participating in an innovative business or service project.

You can apply your project hours toward earning a leadership certificate.
