Traditional media programs tend to focus on a single area—journalism, broadcasting, production, or public relations—but the greatest demand in the communication field today is for cross-trained individuals who can move with confidence and agility between all areas. Media professionals must have the ability to take a project from the planning stage, through data gathering and analysis, to production and broadcast.
