Biography

Dr. Yin Wang received his B.S in Computer Science from University of Science and Technology of China in 2004, then he came to University of Kentucky for graduate study. He received his M.S and Ph.D. in Computer Science in 2008 and 2010, respectively. In August 2010, he joined Lawrence Technological University as an assistant professor in the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science.
Dr. Wang's primary research interests are in scientific computing and computer simulation. Two major interests are in building a computational frame work for scalable and high efficiency solution of partial differential equations and designing robust preconditioning iterative methods for both sparse and dense linear systems.
