Dr. Kussiy Alyass

Dr. Kussiy K. Alyass joined the faculty of the Mathematics and Computer Science Department at LTU in spring 2000. He received a B.Sc. Degree in Mathematics and a Ph.D. degree in Mathematical Statistics from Wayne State University.

Dr Alyass taught a wide variety of Mathematics and Computer Science courses including courses in Probability and Statistics, Discrete Mathematics, Theory of Computation, Logic, Calculus, and Advanced Engineering Mathematics. His research interests include time series modeling, simulation of stationary processes, and asymptotic distributions. He collaborated on research projects sponsored by TACOM for analyzing material fatigue failure problems. He has published several papers in various mathematical journals.
