Jerry Jones teaches writing and literature. His academic interests are in the areas of American literature, identity, ethnic literature, film studies, and creative writing. He has earned undergraduate and graduate degrees from Oakland University and Wayne State University.  His background is varied, having worked as an engineer for a variety of firms before turning to the study of literature. He is also a fiction and non-fiction writer, published in a variety of genres.
