Mr. Nern teaches Business Law, Constitutional Law, and Business Ethics.  His research interests include corporate law and intellectual property.  He earned his B.A. at Michigan State University and a J.D. at Wayne State University.  His professional experience includes working at the Michigan Attorney General's Office as Assistant Attorney General, and at DTE Energy and Detroit Edison as Vice President and General Counsel.
