Jim Rodgers teaches literature and writing.  Teaching at Lawrence Tech has provided a natural environment for his continuing interest in the relations between literature and science.  Most recently, he has developed and taught Literature of the Built Environment for graduate architecture students.  This experience has stimulated a deepened interest in the interactions between visual and verbal representation, natural and constructed worlds.

Dr. Rodgers has a Ph.D. in English Studies from the University of East Anglia; an M.A. in English Literature from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor; and an A.B. in English Language and Literature from Muhlenberg College.
