Critical academic analysis, subject-specific vocabulary, and focused practice to reinforce the student’s skills for University-level courses. Continued paragraph development, grammar and spelling accuracy, extensive practice of rhetorical techniques. Thorough knowledge of word processing programs, electronic documents and BlackBoard navigation are required. Lecture 4 hours. 2 credits.
ESL0562 Advanced Writing

Preparedness and test anxiety reduction to aid in student success. Practice basic quiz and test formats in a relaxed setting to develop skills necessary for test taking. Lecture 4 hours. 2 credits.
