Criteria of Projects:
A) Your projects will enhance the experience of learning for all students at LTU through performance, presentation, display, publication, demonstration, or instruction.
B) Your projects will have both theoretical and practical components and involve original problem-solving skills.
C) You will maintain a portfolio that documents the rationale, development, and outcomes of the project as well as the impact of the project on career goals.
Eligibility:
LTU Arts and Sciences students including double majors and minors and students in joint programs (BSIT, BSBM, BSBME) can be nominated by faculty, or nominate themselves for the Quest program. Students not in the College of Arts and Sciences may participate as long as they work with a College of Arts and Sciences faculty member or on a team with other Arts and Sciences students.
Participation in Your Lawrence Tech Quest usually begins Sophomore year, but Juniors and Seniors can achieve silver and bronze status, and Freshmen are eligible as well. Each project requires 30 hours minimum of engagement. You may complete up to three projects. The projects may be chosen from each category or you may complete multiple projects within a category. You will produce a final portfolio, which includes a capstone summary of the entire Quest experience, and you will present your project (s) at the annual LTU Open House, and/or in a formal performance or campus presentation in order to gain a Your Lawrence Tech Quest transcript and recognition at graduation.Requirements:
