Associate of Science in Chemical Technology

This program prepares students to work as skilled technicians alongside chemists and chemical engineers, or for continuing study in chemistry or chemical engineering. The department consistently places 100 percent of its job-seeking chemical technology graduates

CHEMICAL TECHNOLOGY

As a student in the Associate of Science in Chemical Technology program, you will have available to you the facilities and experiences, listed above, offered to students in our 4-year chemistry programs. In addition, you can:

  • complete your degree in only two years
  • qualify to work as a skilled technician alongside professional chemists and chemical engineers
  • use the associate degree as a stepping stone to a bachelor degree in chemistry or chemical engineering
  • expect readily available job opportunities upon graduation
