Designing for the Future Competition

Ford Motor Company Fund and Lawrence Technological University are sponsoring “Designing for the Future” Competition. High school seniors or transfer students interested in receiving an award to Lawrence Tech’s Transportation Design or Industrial Design programs are encouraged to enter. Over $75,000 in scholarships will be awarded to students completing the admissions process and submitting a design proposal in either the automotive or product track.

Graduates from Lawrence Tech’s program have 100% placement in industry with offers from: Ford, GM, Nissan (London, UK), Peugeot (Paris, France), and VW (Wolfsburg, Germany). Become part of this exciting program and “make your mark” at the university and in industry by taking the first step by entering in this competition.  Winners will be invited and announced at the MAIN Event in front of industry leading designers and executives from around the world attending the Detroit International Auto Show!

 

Luxury can be defined in various ways depending on demographics, geography and era. Define the meaning of American Luxury for a customer that is 20 - 30 years old. Use images and keywords to create a composition of the research and customer background.
