“The BA in Architectural Studies provides an opportunity to explore the world of architecture from a multidisciplinary approach, including exciting options for travel and study abroad. Students learn to think creatively and critically in the language of architecture and design, which then effectively positions them to meet challenges and solve problems unique to the 21st century.” – Gretchen Rudy, College of Architecture and Design
Graduates with a Bachelor of Arts in Architectural Studies possess an understanding of the world of architecture from a variety of perspectives.
They focus on the interdisciplinary nature of architecture in the complex modern world and have an educational foundation that allows them to consider a number of career options. They can also pursue opportunities for advanced degrees and assume leadership roles within the cultural and business environments.

Global Studies exposes you to a wide range of topics related to architecture in the global environment, including travel abroad, foreign language, and cultural studies. Studio Arts focuses on studio course work, including life drawing, sculpture, photography, and beginning architectural design.
