 BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN BUSINESS MANAGEMENT

  

Managers who can develop products and services, identify new market strategies, and anticipate the rapid change that characterizes our technologically driven world are in great demand. This program offers classes in leadership, entrepreneurship, technical communication, industrial management, information technology, organizational psychology, and human resource management, among others.

 BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN COMPUTER SCIENCE

Exciting and dynamic careers await the computer science graduate. With many mundane programming and support tasks being shipped overseas, computer science majors can concentrate on the engaging aspects of intelligent systems, autonomous robots, game development, computer security, web application development, data mining, networks, and virtual environments, just to mention a few.

 BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN HUMANITIES

Humanities graduates are found in advertising, communications, public relations, and teaching and are active in business, government, and public service. This program can also prepare students to pursue advanced degrees in anthropology, business administration, history, law, literature, linguistics, and journalism.

 BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN MATHEMATICS

Acquire a solid foundation in mathematics at Lawrence Tech and you can pursue careers in both the scientific and business communities—wherever mathematical analysis plays a major role in problem solving.

 BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN MATHEMATICS AND COMPUTER SCIENCE

Offering the widest variety of career paths after graduation, this program provides rigorous preparation for higher-level problem solving using advanced mathematical and computing tools.  It also can prepare students for graduate school in either computer science or applied mathematics.

 BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN PSYCHOLOGY

Psychologists study the intersection between brain function and behavior and between the environment and behavior. Psychologists follow scientific methods, using careful observation, experimentation, and analysis. This program aims to prepare students for research and applied careers in industrial, clinical, and biomedical settings. The program can also prepare you for graduate school.

BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN TECHNICAL AND PROFESSIONAL COMMUNICATION

This program can prepare students for professional careers in technical writing, instructional design, website development, and scientific communication. Students develop their written, oral, visual, and computer-based skills with the goal of presenting technical information in forms easily understood by non-technical audiences.

ASSOCIATE OF ARTS IN RADIO AND TELEVISION BROADCASTING

Developed in cooperation with the Specs Howard School of Broadcast Arts, the radio and television broadcasting program builds on the Specs Howard curriculum with courses drawn from Lawrence Tech’s core curriculum. The program emphasizes communication media analysis, broadcast writing and editing, project and team management, and radio and television industry technology.

ASSOCIATE OF SCIENCE IN UNIVERSITY STUDIES

This two-year program is intended for students seeking a high-quality liberal arts degree as well as those who need to demonstrate proficiency at the university level in order to enter their major of choice. Completion of the university studies degree fulfills the general education requirements common to all baccalaureate programs at Lawrence Tech.
