Computer Engineering

Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering

Offering a comprehensive background in traditional electrical engineering and computer science, this program, offered days or evenings, weaves together all aspects of the computer design process from systems to hardware and software. Classroom theory is combined with hands-on lab experiences, providing a working knowledge of computer principles. For a senior project, every student designs and builds a complete computer-based system, product, or game.

Master of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering

Designed for the working professional, the MS in Electrical and Computer Engineering program exposes students to advanced theory and practice. The program offers two tracks — electrical engineering and computer engineering — and is designed to provide students with high-level professional skills, improve their ability to apply scientific principles in solving engineering problems, enhance their ability to communicate, and offer the background required for the pursuit of either a senior engineering position or entrance to a PhD program for those interested in research or teaching. Taking course work entirely in the evening, students can complete the 30-credit-hour program in two years or less.
