Requirements to Study Abroad

The individual programs have their own sets of requirements. Additionally, all Lawrence Tech students must adhere to the following:

Grade Point Average

Have a cummulative grade point average of 2.5. Students in the College of Architecture and Design must have a cummulative GPA of 3.0.

Passport Requirements

Have a passport that is at least two years before the expiration date. To request a new passport or new a passport, visit the U.S. Department of State website. Passport requests should be done immediately to assure on-time arrival.

Financial Stability

Have financial support. Countries that require a Visa for entry will deny student Visas if you cannot demonstate financial stability and support during your time abroad.

Tuition Requirements

Be prepared to pay LTU tuition rates as per our exchange agreements with the different institutions.
