The AAC is always looking for dependable students for part-time positions as front desk assistants or peer tutors in math, natural sciences, computer science, engineering, architecture, and writing.

Requirements: All AAC staff must be dependable and enjoy working with and helping others. Must be current Lawrence Tech students attending at least part-time. Students interested in becoming tutors should be at least a sophomore with a minimum GPA of 3.0. Potential tutors must have recommendations from two faculty members in their major. It is essential that tutors be dependable and punctual.

Availability: Most new positions become available before the start of fall semester, in August. Sometimes new positions are filled during the school year, or before the start of Spring and Summer semesters.

Pay: Starting pay rate for spring semester 2010 will be $8 per hour for undergrads and $10 per hour for graduate students.
