General Exam Proctoring

General Exam proctoring is offered for students who are unable to complete exams/quizzes during regularly scheduled class time. The AAC can proctor individual exams, or (with notice) exams for full classes if a professor cannot be on campus that day.

To use this service, the student must contact the AAC at least 24 hours in advance (48 hours for students with disability accomodations) for an appointment time. We will make every effort to accommodate a student's schedule when making an exam appointment, however, students should plan to leave themselves enough time and not schedule exam appointments at the end of the day.

Once an appointment has been made, it is the student's responsibility to alert his or her instructor.
**Starting fall semester 2009, the AAC will no longer send out emails to instructors when a student makes an appointment.**

Instructors should complete our online Testing Service Request Form or the Testing Service Request Form - Disability Accomodations. This interactive web form can emailed, along with the exam to be taken and any other supporting materials attached to the email, directly to the AAC. If preferred, the instructor can print the testing form and deliver it and the exam in person or through campus mail.

For students with documented disabilities, please refer to the "Accomodations Memo" provided to you by the Disabilities Services Office for the student when determining proctoring instructions. Questions about students with disability accomodations should be addresed to Kathy Charbeneau, Student Disabilities Service Coordinator at charbeneau@ltu.edu or 248-204-4119.

For more information or to make an appointment, contact an AAC staff member at aac@ltu.edu, or 248-204-4120.
