Pre-Courses

Prepare to succeed in your classes with FREE pre-course workshops!

• Review material that you may have forgotten since your last class so you can hit the ground running;
• Learn basic course strategies;
• Preview material that you will see in the first few weeks of class; and
• Meet your classmates and have the option to form study groups for help and support throughout the semester.

Pre-courses are facilitated by student tutors from the Academic Achievement Center and typically meet for three hours per day (with breaks!) for four days.  After the pre-courses are over, the tutors are available for group and individual tutoring.

Pre-courses are held the week before fall and spring classes begin.  Upcoming pre-course dates are:

• Fall pre-courses: August 20-23, 2007
• Spring pre-courses:  January 7-10, 2008
