Prepare to succeed in your classes this fall with FREE pre-course workshops!
-
Review material that you may have forgotten since your last class so you can hit the ground running;
-
Learn basic course strategies;
-
Preview material that you will see in the first few weeks of class; and
-
Meet your classmates and have the option to form study groups for help and support throughout the semester.
Pre-courses are facilitated by tutors and staff from the Academic Achievement Center. Classes meet for three hours per day (with breaks!) for three consecutive days. After the pre-courses are over, the tutors are available for group and individual tutoring at the AAC throughout the semester.
All students enrolled in the target classes are invited to attend pre-courses. Students who would like extra practice reviewing concepts in math and/or physics, or who have failed the course previously, are especially encouraged to attend.
Spring 2010 pre-courses will be held before classes start from Thursday, January 7 - Saturday, January 9, 2010. Click here to register for spring pre-courses!
